The numbers of WWTPs in an industrial park are diverse, ranging from 1 to 14, according to our previous study (Hu et al., 2019b). In 2016, the total treatment capacity of the WWTPs was 3,422 million tons per year (Mt/a), accounting for 17% of the total industrial wastewater emission in China (19,950 Mt/a). Fig. 4.
