The hybrid stand-alone systems have been providing primary energy for devices like radio, TV, refrigerator, light bulbs, amplifier, and speaker at sites far away from a conventional power system.
Optimization of hybrid energy systems involves finding the cheapest combination of all hybrid systems (wind, solar, and diesel generator as backup) and storage capacity that will meet the anticipated demand load with a minimum acceptable level of security.
